My eight-year-old is severely handicapped and has a mental age of approximately 2-1/2 years. However, "Goodnight Opus" is one of his (few) favorite books. He asks for it every night, and it's one that I don't mind reading over and over. He'll say it along with me much of the time. Berke Breathed has hit the nail on the head with this one.
