A Clever and Extremely Useful Book

Checklists for Life should be on everyone's shelf. I have bought several copies of the book for members of my family. I found it witty and extremely useful. The author clearly knows her subjects -- and an amazing array of subjects they are. This book will always be on my shelf as a reference guide and an amusing read. I'm making sure it's on my niece's shelf as well, as she's going off to college next year and will need the advice on household chores, and important legal, medical, and financial managment matters. All of the important subjects in life are included. The book provided a wealth of useful, original and always practical information.

A "Must Have"

When your mom isn't available by phone and your fried who always has the answer to everything is out of town, you need this book. It answers all kinds of questions about preparing for a weekend away, stocking up your house, and other topics that you would otherwise fly blind on. I for one, need a life guide and appreciate this one.

Life Preserver

You could spend forever finding all this information for yourself, or just pick up this prescient collection of things you'll need to know sooner or later. I couldn't have dreamed up all the questions, let alone the answers. Page through it for fascinating tidbits, then keep it handy. You'll be grabbing it off the shelf often.

Handy Mans Helper

I read this book for the purpose of seeing how this book could help people who don't know how and was quite surprised of all of the helpful information it holds. One cannot imagine what tasks are asked of handy men. as a retired businessman I now have a small business of helping ladies in distress, a surrogate husband so to speak. Some the tasks are almost embarrassing to charge for. My point is, there is a very definite need for a book of this type, Single women,men with no mechanical appitude. I have already suggested to many of my clients to purchase this book. Good job Kirsten

Useful and fun!

I gave this book to ten friends this Christmas and I have never received such heartfelt thank you notes. It just struck me as a useful but fun (and well-written) reference book, so I thought it would make a great gift and apparently I was right. Several of my recipients reported putting the book to work almost immediatley. One used the guidelines provided to stock his bar for his New Year's party, and another referred to the list about buying a computer in her post-holiday shopping. I know I've enjoyed my copy. It allows me to become an "instant expert" on a variety of subjects after reading only a few pages at a time!
