This is the best book.

This is the best book. This book gives you the best idea of the
kind og questions and how to tackle the answers.
For anyone that has not had math for a few years, you will be given the problem and a detailed explanation of the how to get the answer. The sample test are excellent. The sample test from the CBEST is not a good sample of the test. It is an overview. I spent the week before the test and felt very good
comfortable when I took it. This book gives you the EXACTLY what they are looking for. The reading portion is not just reading and comprehension. If you are going to take the CBEST,
this is the book. I did buy another book, but it was all over the ballpark.

A great help

This was a good book. It helped alot. Of course the test is not that hard. So anybody using this book should be confident to do well on the test. It has a good review over what will be covered on the test. I was so nervous, but as I was taking the test, it all came back to me. I would definately recommend this book. I don't think any other book is needed. I know some preparations require a few books, but since the CBEST is an easy test, this one book should do you fine. It did for me. I passed ya know! FYI - The CBEST only covers stuff at a BASIC high school level.

Get it done in a week!

This was a great resource in cracking the CBEST test. I received it in the mail 9 days prior to taking the test. I put in about 1-2 hours a day using the guide so I would know what to expect. The test score just came back, and I passed with ease. Thanks to the Cracking the CBEST guide, I was able to prepare for the test by studying and reviewing what would be on the test and taking practice tests before the big day.

This was the only book I read (not the only book I purchased unfortunately) and I passed the test! It helps give you an idea of what the test is going to be about and what they are going to judge you on. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is thinking of taking the CBEST. Excellent Book!

I got this book and studied a couple weeks before I took the test, mainly the math part because I am horrible at math. The book explains everything carefully and in detail so that even those who are math-deficient, such as myself, can understand. I highly recommend this book for anyone taking the CBEST. It was definitely money well spent!!
