Helpful and sincere!

Rhonda Britten does an amazing job at making us understand how fear rules over much of our lives. I could relate to many stories of different people in the book and this helped tremendously in understanding what my fears were and what they were doing to me. I felt like, "That's me! That's exactly what I do!" The book also has some great exercises to help us break out of our fears. I am trying some of them and although I just started recently, they seem to be quite helpful. Only time will tell if this will work in the long run. Regardless, this is an excellent book that can be helpful to anyone ready to face their fears. If you are ready, "The Ever-Transcending Spirit" by Toru Sato is also a fantastic book to help us understand where these fears come from, how they affect us, and how we transcend those fears. If you are ready to take responsibility for both your own happiness and unhappiness, go for these books!

A Book That Truly Delivers

Finally, a book that speaks the bare-naked truth in a manner that is not sugarcoated in the usual literary rhetoric.

This book exposes the bondage of fear that most of us live through on a daily basis, sometimes without conscious awareness of its existence. It is chock full of information and exercises that force you to really look at your limiting habits and deal with them. When you're through with this book you will learn how to identify and prevent even the very thoughts that give birth to fear, as well as the rising tide of fearful living you may have practiced in the past.

Rhonda Britten is a woman who walks her talk. Her methodology is exact, and her sources come from her own life experience, as well as her work as one of the premier life coaches in practice today. I personally felt a jolt of conviction and exhilaration as I read chapter after chapter into the wee hours of the morning. I then picked up the book again the next day and took two weeks to work through all the exercises. This was truly an amazing experience. The most riveting chapter for me? The Wheel of Fear...I never realized how I innocently allow fear to creep into my life, and how my own solutions to my problems were actually creating more problems! It's like I've spent years unconsciously treating the symptom and not the cure. This one chapter alone was worth the price of the book.

This is one not to be missed.

5 Stars +. Rhonda is a rare find indeed.

Feel the fear, read the book anyway

Excellent book for learning how to use fear to move you forward. Rhonda is right on with how she addresses the fear in our lives and creates a process for turning it around. Courage it seems is not the absence of fear, but moving forward in spite of it. Each chapter provides illustrations and stories both from Rhonda and others that have faced fear in their lives and moved through it to success. Rhonda includes a Fear Buster Assignment in every chapter with makes this book less of just a good read, and more of a handbook for life.

Feel the Fear, read the book anyway, and live life!

I love this book!!!

This work took me from a self-help junking to a woman taking full responsibility for her life.
Every chapter provides great tools that move me forward.
Chapter 6, No Expectations, is my favorite. For me, it is the foundation of Rhonda's work.
I love this work!!!

A book like no other!

This book is only for the brave at heart. I say this because Rhonda is serious about the reader getting in the face of fear and calling its bluff. That is no easy task. Read with that awareness and the desire to hear her out. She's honest and you can sense her vulnerability. You will discover things about yourself that you never knew...all good. She helps you see how sneeky fear really is and how it controls your every waking moment, practically. And, she shows you how to master it! If you want to not only survive, but thrive, then this book is for you! If you are tired of being confused, doubtful, self-critical, self-destructive, timid about making decisions, and just generally being leary of taking any risks, then Rhonda is the best coach for you. I'm on my second reading, so read it a few times.
P.S. Have plenty of kleenex close at hand...you will cry, and if you don't, you're not really understanding the book.
