Animorphs, A good series

The Invasion starts off extremely well. When Jake, his cousin Rachel, her best friend Cassie, Jake's best friend Marco, and an outcast named Tobias are walking home from the mall they decide to go through the abandonded construction yard instead of taking a safe road. When Tobias notices a light in the sky and points it out the others put it off as a shooting star. That is until the "shooting star" lands and an injured alien comes out of it. He tells an unbelievable story. Earth is being invaded by a parisitic alien race. The only weapon he can give the five of the kids comes in the form of a blue box. With this the kids gain the power to "morph", become an animal that they can touch and absorb the DNA from. The kids run off after a brief encounter with the bad aliens called Yeerks. The next day, Jake and the others put it off as a dream. Except for Tobias. Tobias is the first to morph and also the first to experience the nightmare that comes with the Andalite's gift. In the end, they go to war against the Yeerks, but that's when the real story begins. There are 54 books in this series. All of them are great and I recommend them to readers 9 to 15.

The Series Begins!

One of the best long science fiction series begins. These books are very exciting and adventurous. Morphing kids is really a fantasy but these book are very good. A good read.

Tons of fun despite so-so writing

Animorphs, ah yes. I really wish the writing was, well, better than the Goosebumps level so English teachers would actually approve of the books. The writing isn't that great, but what do you expect? It's a hyped-up Scholastic series, just like Goosebumps before it. What's way better with this series is that its the same story and character every single book. And it's a FUN story. It's good "fun" reading. I think I'm gonna read the series over the summer since I stopped at book 16 when I supposedly got too old. And kids can relate to and easily like [it.]

Summary: Animorphs, The Invasion

After a normal day at school, a group of kids are walking from school to their homes. Also they're walking through a construction site. All of a sudden, an U.F.O. is flying above them and is about to land. Then an alien that looks like a centaur, wlks out very strangely. As it walks into the light, it is bloody, and has many cuts and burns. After a series of moments, the Yeerks (aliens that want to take over the world) are coming after the injured alien. As the alien is dying, it gives the group of kids a power that could change into any animal. As long as they accquire their DNA. This power could stop the Yeerks that may save the world.
