The Ultimate
This is definitely the best
SAT prep
book out there - explanations are concise and relevant, and the book is very readable. This contrasts rather sharply with many other prep books. As a homeschooler who just took the test (Mar. 12th), I can say without a doubt that this book can cover the needs of all students, even those not normally accustomed to standardized testing. The book is also rather unique in that it can help students currently achieving any score range - while some other prep
guides talk
down to you and are generally only useful for those hoping to improve their scores from average (+-500 on each section) to maybe the 600's, I know from personal experience that
Rocket
review
is just as useful to those already scoring in the 700's.
Mr. Robinson, provides convenient and quick reviews, divided into "bite-size" lessons, of every topic needed for the SAT. ALL the math covered in the test is summarized and divided into small, topic or method-specific boxes for quick and thorough review. If you already know something and don't need to review it, you can simply mark the box as "known" and move on to the next one. Then if you want a quick summary of everything you have reviewed, just skim through the pagesand reread the boxes that you marked earlier for review. In addition, Mr. Robinson gives extremely helpful and time-saving strategies for many of the more difficult math problems you will encounter on the test. These strategies are not abstract theorems or methods that are hard to apply - I know that one in particular allowed me to solve the last question in a math section (one that would otherwise have had me stumped)in seconds without even touching my calculator or writing a single number.
The book's coverage of the writing section is equally helpful. All the grammar needed for the SAT multiple choice questions is summarized painlessly, without any burdensome grammatical jargon. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Mr. Robinson's advice on the ESSAY is indispensable. He explains the most important factors in determining an essay score (#1, sadly, is length), and explains the best types of illustrative examples to include in an essay. I recieved grades on multiple essays, both from Rocketscore, the online automatic essay-grader included with the purchase of the book, and from Mr. Robinson himself, through the essay topics posted on the website. With all this help, I was able to raise my essay scores from 8s or 9s to 11s and 12s(perfect score).
The RocketReview book in itself is by far the best book you can buy, and it includes access to tools like Rocketscore essay-grader. In addition, Mr. Robinson is very accesible; he has graded essays and he personally answers messages sent to him through the website. Both of these attributes are unheard of from other test prep companies. Rocketreview is simply the greatest; two thumbs WAY UP!!

Great source of SAT Strategies.
This book helped immensely in my study for the
SAT
, combined with the College Board's Official
Guide
, giving me a great SAT score, a 2330. The book provides quite a few strategies and general advice for every aspect of the SAT, in addition to a
review
of key math principles. The Official Study Guide on the other hand provides the practice to reinforce the principles discussed in the
Rocket Review
. My score was 190 points higher than my PSAT, which I studied for, though I used different books.

THE BEST SAT PREP BOOK... EVER
As an A+ student and Ivy-League hopeful, I've studied hard for the
SAT
s and have purchased many SAT Prep books. Of all of the books (Princeton
Review
, Kaplan, Barron's), THIS BOOK GIVES THE BEST ADVICE ON THE AREAS THAT MATTER. This book dissects the methods of SAT-writers and tells you everything you need to know about identifying the commonly-used questions on the SAT.
While other books simply regurgitate common sense, the
RocketReview offers
HUNDREDS OF EFFICIENT TECHNIQUES that helped me maximize my performance on every subject! Above all, the book's extensive advice for the
new writing
section is THE BEST I'VE READ OR HEARD FROM TUTORS. Likewise, his Reading and Math advice tell you the IMPORTANT STRATEGIES and methods used to instantly raise your score. Look at my case...
After using this book for only a week, my practice SAT's went up LITERALLY 300 POINTS! ADDITIONALLY, MY ESSAY WRITING SAMPLES ROSE FROM 8 TO 11's and 12's (PERFECT) SCORES FROM ONLINE GRADERS AND SCHOOL SAT TUTORS! This guy REALLY knows what he's talking about. This book is ESSENTIAL for anyone preparing to take the NEW SAT.
TWO THUMBS UP!

Better Than A Review Class
I had been enrolled in an
SAT
review
class for quite some time, but my score wasn't improving as much as I would have liked it to. I bought this book because my mom had seen Adam Robinson on NBC
news talking
about his new SAT book. This book is a review class in itself. It puts concepts in clear words and gives you strategies to use on the test.(It is also filled with humor---which makes studying a lot less painful). Another great thing about this book is that it comes with a very helpful CD-rom. You can write an essay and have it graded (with helpful comments inclduded) in seconds. Adam Robinson himself also personally grades some of the essays online. This morning I received my SAT scores and I received a 2340. I was thrilled. I couldn't have done it without this fun and interactive book. Thank you Mr. Robinson!
