The best book out of the series so far !!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this book because it talks about real life situations like being on a diet and you really want to syop but you just can't you just have to lose that weight. Ann M. Martin I can't belive that you wrote that HORRIBLE other series called "THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB" they always have happy endings if you give them a bad ending all your readers WILL NOT AND I REPEAT WILL NOT FAINT Wellkeep up the good work in the Calif. Diaries!!!!!!!!!

Amalia is my fav.

I really like Amalia because I am so much like her. One of my friends is in danger too, and I never really knew what to say to him. I always chicken out or I can't express myself with words, just like Amalia exsperinces in the book. It was like reading my own diary! Maybe now I'll know what to do about my friend and get him the help he needs. THANKS ANN!

Blows Me Away!

Ann M. way to go! I was reading that other people thought California Diaries were too depressing and BSC too happy. I used to love the BSC, everything was perfect and in the end they always made it. In California Diaries it is just the opisite(sorry bout the spelling)These kids are facing tough times etc. I may sound really weird but living a happy life all the time is riduclas. Also a sad life is too. But people want to know about people who are worse off then them(I think).My fave people are Amalia and Sunny though Sunny has gone over the top. These books are making you itch for the next. Amalia: Diary Two is a great book! I love it and it may be the greatest book of the series so far. I haven't read Maggie yet because it is really hard to get. Five or six bookstores I went to-wow! I haven't met a person who doesn't like this series so far. As I said-way to go Ms. Martain!!!!

Amalia Diary 2 ~ A Quintessential Book!

This book was indeed a really good book, although I find that this book talks about Maggie 60% of the time leaving 40% about Amalia's own little love story. Even though, it talks about Maggie, I love the way Martin blends everything together with Maggie and Amalia. Funny how Dawn doesn't speak much in this book. Anyhow, if you loved California Diaries, this is the book for you! ^.^

Amalia is the da bomb!

The last Amalia book was good, but this one was excellent. Maggie's condition is getting better which is good. I can't believe that James is at it again. Amalia should give him piece of her mind. This Brendan guy seems pretty cool. It's a good thing Amalia has him so she can get her mind off what's-his-face. I would recomend this book to anyone, it's the best book in the series so far.
