Awesome!

I started reading The California Diaries cuz The BSC books are so corny! This book, by far, is the best of the series. It is so well written!! I was literally sobbing!! because the book was so sad. Read this book, you won't regret it!

Just. Cry. To. Death.

Sunny's mother is dying of cancer. She is left with unsolved questions about her mother when she dies, and is left with only her best friend Dawn to support her. Sunny's pain is beyond imagine. This book is well written and very dramtic and heartfelt. I recommend this to any fans of the California Diaries series.

I loved this book

This was a really cool book. My friends mom suffered from lung cancer too, and a few months ago, she died, and this book has really helped her not to feel so alone and to como out of her shell. I thank Ann M. Martin a lot for this. Well, back to the book, I really felt what Sunny was feeling, it was a really neat book, I used to be a BSC fan, but I grew out of it, but now noone can get me away from a Califonia diaries book! Thanks Ann!!!!!

love the whole series

if you haven't read this book, read it now. so far, i've read the whole series. this one took her 6 months for this to come out.

This was the saddest book in the world. I loved it. I love allthe California Diaries Books. I used to like the Babysitters clubbooks, then I read these. They are great because they deal with real issues that kids face. In this one, Sunny's mom is dying. it's soooo sad, and such a good book! Its my favorite book. Ann martin is a great writer. Way to go Ann!
