P.S Longer Letter Later Minh's Book Review
P.S
Longer
Letter
Later
by Paula Danziger and Ann M. Martin is packed with realistic problems.
Tara*Starr who loves jewels , being center of attention and, glitter and Elizabeth who is real rich and hates being center of attention, were best friends until Tara had to move away. Now the two girls have to talk to each other by writing letters. Now the two girls are having school and family problems and their friendship is breaking apart. Can Tara*Starr and Elizabeth keep their friendship or will they be strangers in the next two years? I like this book because if you've felt hopeless in life this book will help you realize that there's nothing to worry about.
This book is recommended for all ages.

P.S. Longer Letter Later...a great book!
I read a book lately called "P.S.
Longer
Letter
Later
" and I thought that it was a great book. The book is about two twelve-year old girls that are best friends, Elizabeth and Tara (or Tara*Starr, what she prefers to be called). In the book, the two friends are totally happy, until Tara*Starr moves to Ohio, and they have no choice but to continue their relationship through letters. The whole book is Tara and Elizabeth sending letters to each other. I recommend this book because I could relate to the characters and I liked them, and see if their friendship lasts, and see if they survive.
The characters in this book aren't perfect, so they're pretty much like the typical teenager. Tara*Starr and Elizabeth are the opposite of each other, for Tara*Starr is loud, loves to be the center of attention and loves to act, and comes from a richer family; and has parents that are irresponsible and act like children. Elizabeth is genuinely quiet, loves to write and recite poetry, has a poor family, and her dad is an alcoholic. It's interesting to read about how Elizabeth puts up with everything and always survives.
The book starts out when the girls both go back to school for 7th grade. Tara*Starr has to start all over again; with a new house and friends. Meanwhile, Elizabeth goes back to school without her best friend. The interaction between Elizabeth and Tara make you really want to keep reading. Sometimes they talk about what they did at school or how their family is doing. Some exciting events happen along the way, and they both travel through hard times. Elizabeth's dad buys stuff that their family can't afford; and Tara*Starr has problems with the boys that she's dating. With all this going on, it is interesting to see if their friendship lasts.
Many people in the world have problems like the events in this book such as their parents divorcing, moving away, long distance friendships or they just don't feel like they fit in this world. In a way, this book makes you feel better, sometimes knowing that there are people out there that are having worse problems than you. This book sends you the message that whatever happens, you can pull through and survive.
I would recommend this book to a girl who likes to read letters, write them, or had a friend who moved away. I think that you should read this book yourself, to find out if they keep their friendship alive!

Interesting book
When Tara*Starr, best friend of Elizabeth, moves away and they can only communicate through
letter
s, it makes for an interesting story. While Elizabeth's family and life is starting to fall apart, Tara*Starr's is only getting better and better.
I read this in one night. Interesting and worth reading, but not really worth buying.

P.S. Longer letter Later, a book review by Mallory
P.S.
Longer
Letter
Later
is a great realistic fiction book by Paula Danziger. It is about a girl, Elizabeth, who's best friend, Tara *Starr, moves away, and the only way she can communicate with her is by e-mail. Elizabeth's parents are very strict about what she does, so she is not able to call Tara *Starr. But when Dad loses his job, he starts going crazy! Will her family be able to stay together? Tara * Starr starts making friends, and hardly ever writes her. Elizabeth is having a hard life. A great story of friendship. I like this book because I think it is very well written, and it really gives you an idea of what Elizabeth is going through. This book is perfect for people who like friendship stories. P.S. Longer Letter Later is a great book to read.

Take A Look ....It's The Best
The book P.S.
Longer
Letter
Later
is the best book, I think i've ever read. It's written in letters that were sent back and forth betweeen two friends Tara*Starr and Elizabeth. The two girls were best friends for almost their whole lives, and then they had gotten the worst news they could ever here,Tara*Starr had to move to Ohio!! They kept their friendship going good through letters. For a whjile everything was going good in both of the girls lives, until Elizabeth's fater had gotten fired from his job (her father wouldn't let her mother work), then everything went all down hill.Elizabeth's father started drinking alot, and he over charged on every credit card they had. Then the girls had gotten into a fight and stopped talking for a while. After the fight Elizabeth let Tara*Starr know what was going on, Elizabeth had to move. There was only one problem, they didn;t have enough money so they sold every thing they owned and used the money to. When moving day came, Elizabeth's fater left them!!
Meanwhile in Ohio Tara*Starr met new firneds and joined the drama club and was living a good life, but felt really really bad for her best freind Elizabeth!! Then Tara*Starr found out her mother was having a baby!! Tara*Starr hated the idea of being an older sister, But Elizabewth was very very happy for her!! After a while of keeping in touch,Tara*Starr told Eliuzabeth that she could go viset her in Ohio!!! Elizabeth was the happiest girl ever.
I really really liked this book because if I was in there place i would do the same thing to stay friends with the one I was friends while for almost my whole life!! I just only wish i did this when I moved here from Watervalite, because i left my best freind that i grew up whit there and never really had the chance to say good-bye.
