A Most Delightful Summer Read

Barbara Delinsky has caught my fancy and never disappoints me. My daughters and friends have moved this book around their circle of friends. I wanted the story to go on. I want a sequel.

I could not put it down

This is the first book in a long time that has kept me up most of the night reading. I have read most of Barbara Delinsky's books and enjoyed them, this is my new favorite.

the cover is best

This is another fine book by Barbara Delinsky. The plot was predictable, for the most part, and the characters were fairly well drawn. But what struck me as very unusual was the cover of the book-----Not the book jacket---the COVER! The prettiest cover I've ever seen on a book of fiction. No title, author, or publisher listed, just an arresting array of flowers. It dresses up my bookshelf, and I didn't even notice it for about 20 pages!

A wonderful read!!!

I love this book!!! This is the first book I have read by Barabara Delinsky. The story was absolutely captivating. I was glued to this book, and could not put it down until I finished. I highly recommend getting this book and becoming lost in the story.

Delinsky does it again...

I am a Barbara Delinsky fan, okay. I was before I read this book. However, "Flirting with Pete" is one of her best in my opinion. I couldn't put it down, even brought it with me to a root canal. It is so much more than a romance novel, though it fills the bill in that respect. Delinsky's background as a social worker/counselor really shines through in this particular piece. I can't tell you too much because it would spoil it for you, but rest assured that "Flirting with Pete" would be a worthwhile read for you!
