Thank God for Rick and Bubba

What a wonderful and funny book. It is a blessing to have these two people touch our lives in such a great way. I will never look at a Barney mask in the same way! :)

Safe fun

Look, if you want gratuitous sex and violence, go elsewhere. If you want something that is fun and one could have your kids read too, then this is it. Very much like their radio show in it's eclectic mix of topics. Yes, they're Christians, but in a way someone who isn't might actually find interesting, fun, and attractive which puts them in a very rare place in the media.

A remarkable addition is that a CD of them is included with the book so you can hear them in their radio element. It's altogether too smug to dismiss them as a Southeastern regional phenomenon when I suspect they would fly nationally if given a shot. Program managers might like not having to worry about FCC fines like Opie and Anthony or Howard Stern who have since gone to satellite on rival networks to escape the FCC liability.

Warning: Don't read this book in quiet places!

I tried to read a chapter or two at night before I go to sleep. My husband is already in bed and almost asleep. I'm in bed reading this book and trying to supress my laughter. So the bed begins to move and shake quickly to my laughs- which that in itself becomes really funny and my husband yells through his pillow-put that book up!
This book is a must read. People who have never heard of Rick and Bubba may not understand just how wonderful the book is. Thanks R/B for letting us get to know you a little bit better. You just keep feeling like members of our family.

Fantastic Book!!

I have been a Rick and Bubba fan for about a year and my expectations for the book were high. Well, these guys delivered ten-fold! They think and act like the "typical American".
They have more common sense in their little fingers than most people have, peroid. Their stories are so similar with what we all go through in our everyday lives. You are sure to recognize one of your relatives in the same situation, if not yourself. The book is very funny and is an easy read. Great price with a bonus CD!

This is the funniest book I've read since the old Lewis Grizzard days. I was run out of the living room three times because I was laughing so hard, my wife could not hear the t.v. This will let all regular men know that we are not alone in thinking and acting the way we do. Rick and Bubba show in this book, that they are just regular men trying to do their best in life.
