Extremely Helpful

I recently had an unexpected loss of a person I loved. I was truly in more pain than I ever had been in my entire life. Fortunatly I stumbled accross this book and was helped enormously. Its practical, simple, and will help you through the grief process. Heart Ache is the worse pain I know and you dont have to go through it alone and without help. Pick up this book and begin healing.

Highly recommended for anyone in the grieving process.

Encouraging and Uplifting

This isn't a deep psychological evaluation of grief. It's very simple, direct and to the point, with many encouraging and uplifting passages to validate what you're feeling and help you work through grief. Sometimes all you need is for someone to say, "Of course you feel that way - that's natural." The format of the book is such that you can pick it up at any time and read just a page or two from any section and find something worthwhile and inspiring. You don't have to start on page one - you can start at any point that appears to be addressing what you're feeling at the moment, and because of the way it's put together you don't feel like you're "joining in the middle." It's perfect for people in crisis who are overwhelmed by life and who have very little time to pause and reflect, because you can read a bit here and a bit there as you have time.
