Five stars to start:)

I really thing this is really great what I like about this book is that it haves short stories that are real. I like the poems that come after the stories and what I also like about this book is that it makes you realise things that you did not know. That is why Ilike this book.

A quick, easy, and inspiring read

It's amazing how much emotion can be communicated through the written word. Since the inception of the Chicken Soup for the
Soul series, millions of Americans have gained a deeper understanding of themselves through the hundreds of stories included in these books. Authors Canfield, Hansen, and Kirberger have illuminated a fire within their readers. The faithful readers of this popular series have turned to the stories of their fellow man to find inspiration, hope, and emotion within themselves.

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul III, like its predecessors, was jam-packed with stories by teenagers and for teenagers. We, as
teens, learn through these stories of love, despair, and triumph that the splendor of life equally comes from our encounters of love, despair, and triumph. It is through experiencing these three things that life becomes richer and we become happier.

The sections of this book each touch an area of life sacred to teens: relationships, friendships, love, tough times, and growing up. Seeing other teens deal with these dilemmas encourages us to hold onto life's experiences and LEARN from them. It is through this learning process that we truly mature and find ourselves.

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul 3

I choose to read this book because it was a book created for my age group. I was looking for something I could relate to and I found it. My friend Kathy, lent it to me. She old me it was a good book and that she had read it before, she thought I would like it, because it was about people our own age going through real life problems. At the time, Kathy and I were going through some problems of our own, but nothing big. I'm really glad Kathy lent me this book, some of the stories made me realize that I didn't have it as bad as I thought I had, this book even brought me closer to my family.
In the book, Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, there really isn't just one main character there are more like 100 different main characters in this book. In this book people's real life stories are split up into categories, such as relationships, friendship, love, family, lessons, tough stuff, overcoming obstacles, self-discovery, and growing up. One of my favorite poems in the book is tiled Tears, it is about a young girl named Jamie Rowen describing what she went through during the columbine shootings. It talks about how it wasn't the gun or the drug companies' faults it was how the Killers felt about themselves that sent them into such a rage. This book can be sad and uplifting at times, but no matter what, in my opinion, it's a great book.
I really enjoyed this book and I found I very easy to relate to. I love the fact that we as teenagers have a book of our own to refer to whether we need help mourning the loss of a family member or the loss of a friend. I rate this book a 6/5+, because I just couldn't stop reading and learning about other people's real life stories. I hope to read the next Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, as soon as it comes out.
