Great book, good seller

This is a wonderful book and great for holiday giving. The seller got it to me fast and it was in perfect condition.

Worth reading

The simple concept of living your life from your deathbed is a life changing experience. His decision to remind us to constantly re-align with our own unique individual goals is inspiring. It is also a great gift for people who don't normally read because of it's short length and his down to earth writing style.

In my opinion there are two things that we need to do to achieve any goal in life - gain clarity of purpose and take focused action. In the Five Wishes, Gay Hendricks has given us a very simple but highly effective method to gain clarity of purpose.

The technique is straight-forward and easy to implement. But that does not take away from the power of the process. If you will really focus on the five wishes, you will come face to face with the things that are missing in your life. Then turn those wishes into a goal by restating them and then taking focused action to achieve them will certainly change your life.

The book is a little short on information about the steps involved in taking focused action. The average reader probably needs a how to guide to implement the goals developed from the five wishes.

The book is easy to read and presents the information in a heart warming story. It is well worth reading. It is short and most people will be able to read the entire book in one sitting.

It is more inspirational than instructional. Guy Hendricks really opens up about his own personal experience in discovering the five wishes and the impact they had on his life.

On the last page of the book there is one sentence that captures the essence of the book. "From your deathbed, what matters is that your final breath comes in with the sweet satisfaction of a life fulfilled and goes out with the blessing of a life complete." If you have doubts about how you will view your life as you near your final breath, then you really need to read the book and implement the five wishes.

Five Wishes equals Life's Successes

This is a book you can't put down, but you must to allow your mind to slow down enough to be able to absorb the next words. To be able touch anyone that picks this book up is a feat in itself, but to be able to cause the reader to stop and reflect upon his/her own life is next to genius. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to stop the down-ward spiral in their lives, simply by pausing to think about where they are in their life journey.

Simple, yet insightful

What a wonderful book. Very easy to read; the main idea presented was simple, and something I've heard before, but never presented with such clarity. This time it actually effected change in my life, rather than an intellectual debate! This book facilitated developing greater clarity about what's really important in my life, why, and what I need to do in order to ensure I'm on track to fulfill these goals. Enjoy!
