Wonderful and touching

I just bought this book for my unborn baby. I love it! It's a very sweet story in which a polar bear cub asks where he came from. Mama tells him Gos gave us you. She tells the cub that God decided he belonged with her and Papa. I nearly cried reading this book, thinking how it answered the question just as I would want to if my child asked me where he came from.

Love this book!

I just read this book to my 4-year-old son. I should have previewed it before I read it aloud. About half way through, I started to cry. This is such a touching story. It explains, in loving words and pictures, how little cub came to be and why her parents wouldn't trade her for the world. I definitely suggest this for anyone with small children. One word of advice, read it to yourself BEFORE you read it to your child aloud. Maybe you won't cry through the second half of the book as I did.

great gift!

I recently gave this book as well as the sequel, God Gave Us Two to a friend who is expecting a 2nd child. They loved it and it's a great way to prepare their little boy for being a big brother.

Sweet children's book

I love this book and can't wait for my baby to be old enough to understand the wonderful message. What a great way to explain where babies come from to young children! I'll definitely get this book for my friends, and the second one "God Gave Us Two" when we have another.

This book is one of the sweetest books I've read! I love to read it to my daughter. It is a wonderful way to let her know how much we love and want her. Everyone needs to be reminded that they are valued and this book is a good way to remind your child of that!
