This book is an excellent resource for any type of spells, and potions. It has every catagory covered and easy to follow.

Great resource!!!!

This is not a hold - your - hand - how to. Ms. Illes clearly understands that not all practitioners set up alters, create sacred space, or cast circles, squares or other geometric shapes the same. This is just spells, some very old, all very interesting and very well researched. This appeals to those who have generational knowledge passed through our families. We find ourselves in these pages and are glad someone is sharing it.

This book and it's companion book are just full of practical information without any fluff... a must have!

Exactly What I Expected And More!

I read a book like this many years ago and am so happy to have found one for sale. I bought this book and it speaks of all the old spells I grew up with before Wicca came and changed the face of magick. I've practiced for over 40 years and I have worked some of the spells in this book and they DO work. I love this book! I highly recommend to anyone wishing to actually practice "real" magick. It is not only honest but very informative. Read it and you will learn much. I would give it more than five stars if they had that available. Great Book!!

A very indepth resource

A wonderful addition to any Wiccan or Magickal library this tome is through in it's subject matter, a highly recommended addition.
