Read This Book!
I liked this book. The part I liked the best was when
Stellaluna started
acting like a bird. She tried to sleep like a bird, she tried to look like a bird, she ate worms, insects. She tried to fly like a bird and in the end she finds her mother and she goes back home.

A must have for all early childhood teachers. This is a heart warming story about a baby bat who falls from her mother's grasp after they were attacked by an owl.
Stellaluna falls
into a bird's nest and becomes friends with the baby birds in the nest. This story teaches children everything about bats. The way they live, what they eat, and how they see at night to name a few. The story also teaches the children why they should not be afraid of bats. Especially Stellaluna, she eats fruit! This story is a classic.

School Book Review
Did you ever live with birds? I read a book about a bat that did. It was called
Stellaluna
by Janell Cannon. This book is about how a bat named Stellaluna gets separated from her mother. Stellaluna has to live with birds. She tried to teach the baby birds how to fly. Eventually they learned from their mother. I like this book because it was funny when Stellaluna and the birds were hanging upside down from their nest. I also like this book because it has adventure. I think the author's message was that you should have hope that everything will turn out fine in the end, meaning Stellaluna will find her mother. You should read this book to find out if Stellaluna will ever see her mother and home again.

Would you ever want to get lost from your mother when you are just a baby? I read a book about a baby bat that did. This book is called
Stellaluna
by Janell Cannon. Stellaluna's mother gets attacked by an owl and lets go of her baby, Stellaluna. Stellaluna lands in a birds nest and makes friends with the baby birds and mama bird. Stellaluna teaches the baby birds how to hang upside down. I think this book is funny because it has funny pictures. You sometimes might think you are actually there! This is a great book. I think the author was trying to tell us not to panic if anything wrong happens. Read this book to find out if Stellaluna will ever find her mother.

School Book Review
Did you ever see a bat? I did. I read a book about a bat who got lost and had to eat worms every day. It's called
Stellaluna
by Janell Cannon. An owl attacked a mother bat and her baby Stellaluna got lost. Now the baby bat is trying to find her mother. I like the picture when Stellaluna teaches the birds how to be a bat by hanging upside down. I also like when the birds learn how to fly. From reading this story I learned that if I ever get lost I will never give up trying to find my way home. I think you should read this book to see if Stellaluna and her mother will ever find each other and this way home.
