Very Satisfied
We are very satisfied with the
Fat
Smash
Diet book
and the transaction in general.
Phase I really works!!!
I read the book in less than a hour. It was easy reading and straight to the point. To do this
diet
it will take commitment and discipline. The vegetable soup recipe was good and will get
you through
a couple of meals along with a salad. The unlimited fruits helped my "sweets" cravings along with eating 4 to 5 meals a day. I did not miss the meat and bread; but I love cheese and that's probably what I missed the most. Of course the unlimited vegetables was a good thing for me, because I don't always eat enough vegetables. You have to get creative and plan your meals to make it through phase I. I lost 6.5 pound in phase I. I felt good throughout phase one, and I n
ever
felt irritable or
fat
ique. I'm looking forward to continuing with the rest of the diet; my goal is to lose between 25 and 30 pounds.
Also, exercise is so important in this plan, so if you are not one to exercise, this plan might not be for you.

If you've got the time, this will work!
I started on the
diet after
reading the book about a month ago. I will be done with phase two in 5 days. I have lost 15 lbs so far! I am 5'5" and went from 161 lbs to 146 lbs. I spend a good amount of time
ever
y day preparing and packaging food (mostly fruits and vegetables) so that I wont cheat. 5 meals is quite a lot to prepare for if
you
are used to eating out/grabbing something quick to take to work. I have also been going above and beyond with the work out requirements. I have maintained a vegetarian plus seafood diet even though in phase two you can add in some meat if you like. Besides the plateau I hit the week after detox (which was 10 lbs in 9 days), I am losing now usually 1 or 2 lbs a week. This diet has been working great so far and my goal is to get to 125 - 130 lbs. Besides the slight vagueness of how much to eat how many times a day for certain food, and discrepancies with the recipies and "allowed" foods for certain phases, this diet will work. I would not recommend it for people who don't like fruit and vegetables, vegetarian foods, love meat and potatoes, or don't like working out. ALL are ESSENTIAL to your success. If you cant give up meat and potatoes diet, I would recommend something like Weight Watchers which is more flexible.

Good Diet
I thought this book would have more to it. The
diet
is very simple with not much explaination. A friend of mine has been on this diet for three months and has lost 35 pounds. I have started this diet, but my progress has been slower. As I said, the diet is simple, which is good, but I wish there were more explaination as to what
you might
expect going through the detoxification phase, etc. I still recommend this book.
