Enjoyable afternoon read

I read this in almost one sitting, its very short and not very hard to read. I enjoyed it for what it is, and clearly would understand parts of it more if I read the whole series. I don't know if I liked it enough to bother hunting the rest of the series down, but I won't argue if they come my way.

Sarah is a little too mysterious at times, I think, it seems to clash with her 'can do' security expert personality. I liked the hero, Damon, though, he was an enjoyably gruff character who illustrated his own flaws and is a sort of different hero for these sorts of books.

It was nice to see so many wonderful supporting characters squeezed into such a little book, Feehan did a great job in sketching out these characters with a few sentences.

I'd reccomend this book to someone looking for a quick, enjoyable, slightly dreamy read, with the possibility for similiar reads in the series, down the road.

I love anything by C. Feehan

I love anything by Christine Feehan; but her writings are not for children. I read somewhere her works described as housewife porn? Well, whatever you call it, it's a pleasant escape from the humdrum of everyday. It brings me the kind of romance our childhood fairy tales let me believe in. It's nice to dream. One big 'atta girl for Christine. Marcia AKA Topsy

completely entertaining for what it is worth

It is a very short and easy to read book that does start a series. I have read the first three books of the "Drake sisters series", which according to the author have a book for each of the seven sisters. I enjoyed this one the most because the plot was always fresh. The other books revisit some plots that start getting slightly predictable. but I plan on finishing up the series because they are easy to read, overall excellent stories, and all the main characters are likeable. I thought this book was good as a complete story, but it did leave me interested in the rest of the characters lives.

Blown away by a magical writer... again!

Whether you have read any of the other Drake sister stories or not; you will smile, cringe and drop your jaw in awe while you read this book. You will fall in love with the characters. It's always an equality of the sexes... no fainting females here. Every character of Ms. Feehan's novels inspire with their faith, intellegence and courage in the face of adversity.

This novella by Christine Feehan is another in a great line of extraordinary literary prowess. Every time you start a new chapter, you'll think, "I'll just read this chapter and I'll put it down". That will never happen. You will find yourself at the end of the book and counting the days until another of the series hits the market.

I have started 3 other members of my family reading Ms. Feehan's books and we all love the enchantment she creates.

Magic in the Wind

I injoy reading Christine Feeham's novels and novellas. Her Drake Sisters, The GhorstWalker, and The Dark Series are my favorites. I look forward to every new novel to come out. She is a wonderful author and it is hard to put the book down, because something is always happening and I want to find out if the characters overcome their sicuations and find happiness in the end.

Sicerely,
