good on spiritual, short on practical

George Kinder is clearly an advanced and sensitive soul, and he's done an nice job using his client's stories to explore the spiritual and philosophical aspects of money. If, however, you're interested in more practical money handling guidance, I'd highly recommend The Mindful Money Guide. It's a good read, cuts through much of complication cluttering most financial guides, and never losses sight of the fact there's more to life than the bottom-line (while not ignoring the importance of financial security either).

Great book on coming to terms with money

Great book on how to gauge what money means to you. And then on how to control and discipline yourself about it. I particulatly likes what he says about "Leave your toughts, and let your feeling be."

Maturing in economic and spiritual fields.

The book taught me not only about investments and management of my money, but it was a great spiritual guide as well. The principle of Aloha emphasizes the qualities each of us should have - grace, knowledge and geniuneness. Also, the book shows real examples of people experiencing difficulties and explains how to deal with problems. There's a great deal of literature involved - Divine Comedy, Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience, Buddhist Cycle of Samsara. On simple examples of books, people's experiences and principles of Aloha, we learn self confidence, investing.

Far and away the most USEFUL book about money available.

I have read most of the money books that are around and they have all been helpful to various degrees. But now there is a book available that takes money issues to a completely new level. Kinder's experience as a financial planner combined with his understanding of how the mind works from his work as a Buddhist practitioner and teacher has provided anyone with the opportunity to discover the real core of our money issues.

If you have any issues around money, and most people I know do, read this book. You will find it entertaining, practical, and most important you will discover the REAL ISSUES that are keeping you from being at ease around money AND the tools to transform those issues.
