Jack Reviews God's Smuggler

God's Smuggler is a thrilling story! The title may infer that the book is only about the smuggling work of Brother Andrew, but his exciting life's story is also told. God's Smuggler kept me captivated from the beginning to all the way to the end and showed me that no matter what the circumstance, any child of the greatest King can live like royalty.

No Milk-tost Christians

If self-sacrifice is the mark of true heroism, then Brother Andrew is in a class with the most valient. This book tells his story from birth and youth in WWII poverty, to the agnosticysm of a young man to the realization that God is REAL and part of his life. It will challenge your faith to rely on God as if he were a king leading his troops into battle. He is. Brother Andrew's story is one of the most involving STORIES I have read. But it isn't just a story, it is the life of a real man who has given everything for the mission to spread light to a dark land. Just because the Iron Curtin has fallen, dosen't mean that this book is any less relevant today. It will change your faith. Gaurenteed.

A definate MUST read!

Other than the Bible, this book has had the biggest influence in my life. I strongly recommend that everyone read this book. It is a shining example of how God is concerned for our well being and how he works miracles in our lives. It is very well written. Do yourself a favor, get this book. You'll want to buy two so you have one to share with your friends.

Gripping and inspiring story!

Not only is this an enthralling, suspenseful story but it also inspires and uplifts. I have read it many times and always enjoy picking it up and reading it again. Brother Andrew's organization is still at work around the world, and this book continues to assist in that work by inspiring others to take it up in their own way.

Real Examples of God's Provision and Sovereignty

I am used to doctrine textbooks that state the fact that God is real, loving, and that he provides for us. But here is a book that is told in the humble language of a man who only wants to honor the King he serves. It tell the true story of a man who risked everything to encourage brothers and sisters behind the Iron Curtain. Even now there are brothers and sisters in places like China, Sudan, and the Middle East who are suffering, too. Read this book and take it as a challenge to care for those children of God who feel lonely and isolated, whether they be Sudanese, Chinese - or your neighbors, your colleagues, or your classmates. The call is simple: Pray and serve.
