This was an excellent book!!!!!

In this book, Dawn has to debate whether to keep her friendship with Sunny or not. Sunny's mom is getting worse, and Sunny doesn't seem to care. Carol is getting ready to have her baby, and Dawn is getting ready to go to Stoney Brook for the summer. Can she save her frienship with Sunny before it's too late??

Wonderful book!

It was a good book, like the rest in the series, but Dawn is being really selfish and annoying. She should just STOP! I love this series of books, and anyone who doesn't like these books, is crazy!

I call this book the best book in the california diaries series. One thing I don't like in this book is the fact that Sunny is being so mean to Dawn.Dawn really would like to be Sunny's freind in the worst way. That stinks. And Maggie's "flab" problem. That girl really needs to take one good look in the mirror. Like dawn wrote,"Maggie is slender with an capital S." If anyone who likes the Babysitters Club I will adivise to buy California Diaries books instead. Better yet, buy the whole collection. It is so much better than Babysitters club. Because CALIFORNIA DIARIES RULEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another wonderful CALIFORNIA DIARY!!

I have read all of the books in this series so far, and after reading this one, I have decided that Dawn in my favorite character. Dawn is being faced with many problems, including her stepmothers pregnancy. She can't decide whether or not to be sympathetic to her ex-best-friend Sunny (whom, in my opinion, is foolish and selfish) even though Sunny is making no effort to be nice to her. And Maggie is BULIMIC!!!! She's crazy. I think she needs to be a little more easy on herself. Nevertheless, I am anxiously waiting the arrival of Maggie 2. P.S. Jill needs to write her diary!

This book was great but Dawn was a BRAT!

I love this series! I have read all of them!

This particular one was weird because Dawn was being stupid. It is not all her fault but she is still mean to Sunny! When Sunny came over to give Carol the flowers she should have said something besides that Carol wasn't there. She should have told Sunny she wanted to talk. But I guess Ann M. Martin just wanted to make the book interesting. But Dawn was a real BRAT!!!!!!!!!!
