Great!!!!!

This book is the best. I can not wait to read more. This is really realistic and detalied. Yeahhhhh Ann M Martin.

Maggie has no place to turn.

I like California Diaries. However I don't like how everyone is saying bad things about The Baby-sitters' Club. You think the books are too happy? I think these are too depressing! It's a tipical streotype about teens having the hard life. It isn't ALWAYS like that! NONE of my friends have had bad boyfriends, eating disorders,or hate their Stepparents. If this were a T.V. show i'd call it a "Teen Soap opera".

5 Stars! California Diaries is the best series around!

This book is really, really good. It seemed so real to me that I just wanted to slap Maggie around and tell her to wake up or something! I read it in one day, which is what I always do with the California Diaries series books. I am really excited and can't wait until Amalia diary two comes out!

I LOVE THIS SERIES!

This series is so good! It talks about real problems that teenagers have, and helps the characters work through them, which helps teens. This book is a must read. It helps real teens get through life.

A little depressing, but a good book.

California Diarys are one of my fav. book seires. This book was sad. Maggie was convinced she was fat, but it's obvious she wasn't. I hope this book tells other people not to starve yourself just because you think your fat. Her mother's alcholhal promblem was a nice sub-plot.
