Dawn, Sunny, Maggie, Amalia, and Ducky-Changes in California

It's not that easy to be Ducky McCrae. Ducky's in high school and he's really Chris McCrae, but it's Ducky to everyone. He's nice, and is like a neighborhood drive-around for his friends in California-Dawn Schafer, Sunny Winslow, Maggie Blume, Amalia Vargas, and others. But he knows all what happening. Dawn's going through many changes, Sunny's in a rebel stage, Maggie's feeling like she's under serious pressure, and Amalia's having a hard, twisting time with her boyfriend. Ducky's life seems great. He's funny, too. But it's not all true. He's a crack-up. Joker. Everybody knows him. Everybody likes him. But he's not like them.
