Very moving...

The Fire at Mary Anne's House can be summarized in one word: Wow. It's the most moving book I've probably ever read in my whole life. It's amazing how your life can change in one second, and Ann (or her editors) portrayed Mary Anne's overnight life alter extremely well. When you finish reading this book, you will almost definitely look around your atmosphere and feel a warm, fuzzy feeling- LoL. Anyway, read this book- it's like no other BSC book, and it's the last one. Can't wait for the new series, but I'll miss the old one. At least there are 131 books to read over!

The BSC grows up.....

Finally! After a long time, a realstic book in the BSC series! This was better then a California Diaries book! I LOVED IT!!!!!!! Mary Anne's house burns down and she has nowhere to live. I feel sorry for Mary Anne. I'm glad however that the BSC is becoming more real. I CAN'T WAIT FOR 'EVERYTHING CHANGES'! The new series Friends Forever (plus this book) is sure to be the bomb just like California Diaries!!!!! Keep them coming Ann!!!!

The BSC is back and better then ever!

I am so glad this series made a comeback! I always knew it would! This has got to be the best BSC book Ann M. Martin has ever writen! It's touching, moving, and suspenseful. I'm in 9th grade and I still can't stop reading Martin's work! (California Diaries included) In #131, Mary Anne's house goes up in flames! She has nowhere to live and her dad and stepmom are even thinking of moving out of Stoneybook! since 1986, the BSC series has been about....well baby-sitting. Not that that's a BAD thing, it's just that the new plot is fresh, new and exicting! This is now just as wonderful as California Diaries! Keep them coming! Thanks Ann! The new BSC rocks!

THIS BOOK R*U*L*E*S*!!!!!!!!!

This book rocks! I thought the BSC plots were getting kind of old, and the series was getting a lot of bad comments from California Diaries fans! I had begun to stop reading the books and switch to California Diaries until my friend bought me this one. WOW!!!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I am now going to read both because both series have an equal amount of realisim. I also thought the BSC had way to many happy endings. This one certainly didn't! I cried! Seriously! (and I NEVER cry, not even when reading a CDS book! So this certainlly means something!) Keep this up Ann! BOTH CDS AND THE BSC NOW RULES!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I've been reading the BSC series for about seven years now. While I like California Diaries, I always knew Ann M. Martin would put some life into the BSC plots again. AND SHE HAS! The Fire at Mary Anne's House was even better then Dawn, Diary Three! In the last book of the BSC series, Mary Anne's house burns down. She has nowhere to live and feels so sad. Even her friends rallying around her doesn't help. Poor Mary Anne! This book made me cry, especially the ending (which I won't give away) Just read the book! I'm telling you that this is better then all of Ann's books combined! I'm pretty sad that this is the last book of the Baby-sitters' Club series. But I'm looking forward to new more young adult changes in the Baby-sitters' Club: Friends Forever series. Who knows? Now we may like both California Diaries AND the BSC. I know I sure do!
