Just Sweat and Tears

Many people jump at any chance given to go out into the dating scene and sometimes those of us who sit back and look on at those who are in the midst of all the action tend to be a little envious. Two thumbs up for the author delivering the truth about how hurtful dating can actually be. But the clincher is that it deals with a mans pain.

For all you 'Waiting to Exhale' fans you need to see the turn around because it is an eye opener. Yes men hurt and cry and long to be loved and William Fredrick Cooper opens up a new world that women need to look into and men need to open up to. I strongly recommend this book whether you want to buy it as a gift or your a book lover yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Priceless Piece of Literature!!!

Six Days In January is an absolutely incredible novel! I read his story in Sistergirls.com, and have been eagerly awaiting this novel. And I was not disappointed. This is a must read for both men and women, because it shows you that men do really have emotions and feelings. This book should be publiccized widely, because of its style. I've never read anything like it before. It touched every feeling I had in my body, much like Terry McMillan did with "Waiting To Exhale." We need to see more books like this. I wish I could give it 10 stars!

A MUST READ FOR ALL WOMEN!

William Fredrick Cooper's novel is one of the more enlightening books I have read in recent memory. I think women need to pay careful attention while reviewing, for it shows you the guy actually say we want, yet always pass by. This story has made me rethink the way I've treated alot of men. In my bitterness, I may have let William McCall slip right through my hands. Thank you, Mr. Cooper, for writing a classic novel.

So Real

"6 Days In January" was one of the best books I have read in a very long time. In this wonderful work of fiction, Mr. Cooper made me privy to what is going on in the hearts and minds of my beautiful brothers. Through the course of this book I had to take responsibility for the part that I have played to create some of the monsters we have all have the misfortune to love. Any work of fiction that requires personal reflection is a must read. It is now required reading for my 18 year old son as well.

skillfully written

William McCall is having bad luck in the relationship department. After being thrown out in the cold one January day, William asked himself how and when did he go from being the nice guy to being a dog? McCall spends the next 6 days re-examing his life and the relationships which change his behavior towards women.
Women will love reading about the hardship of relationships from a male perspective and I think men will appreciate Cooper's candor. His skillfully written novel took me from the past to the present, without leaving me confused. I had a hard time putting the novel down and I hope Cooper decides to write a sequel to his excellent novel.
