Fantastic

I finished reading this book the other day and was just amazed. I could not put it down. I was in tears at what people will do to children. I am a police officer and investigate things like this but never this bad. I thought the boy had such courage.

David, I read your first two books and looked all over town for the third, A Man Called Dave, but it was not yet released. I finally found the book on Saturday January 8, 2000, and completed reading it on Monday. You have inspired me more than you will ever know and everyone in my family has read your books and look forward to all other work you publish in the future. Your books always bought me to tears, but also joy in the way you triumped. God bless you and your family.

Incredible

This book was an incredible, well-written and inspirational book. It makes me sick and horribly sad that a wonderful child could be treated in such a manner. No one deserves to be treated like David was. It is wonderful to see that he never let go of his self-motivation and is doing incredible things today. I can't wait to read the next two books in this trilogy...

This book was an incredible. I just read this book and could not put it down. It was at times so unbelievable that it had to be true. My thoughts and prayers were with him the whole time I was reading. I too, was an abused child, but to read how he forced himself to pull through from every situation was incredible. I cannot wait to read the next book.
