Inspiration and Information

This book appears to be a reference book, but you'll find yourself reading it from front to back! It's so full of inspiring thoughts, that you won't even realize that you're digesting so much information about every aspect of acting as a career. After reading it through, you'll reference it again and again. I'm using it as a resource so that I can hit the city running when I move to L.A. Thanks Judy!

The most informative resource around!

When I opened this book I had no idea it would be so informative that I would read the entire thing that very day. This is the best acting book I have ever read. I found a lab, a retoucher, a reproducer, a web designer and many other useful tools that I personally used from the book. Not only does Judy list these types of services, but there is also some extra information about almost every one of them. There has been at least 20 websites I have used from the listings in the book. I can not say enough about this book. It has information for everyone from the novice to the professional actor. This is a MUST HAVE!

This book covers all the prerequisites for a successful acting career; inspiration, motivation, and determination. I am definitely going to reread it on a regular basis as a guide on my journey as an actor.

The most helpful tool I've found!

This book has been a Godsend! I'm planning my move to Los Angeles this summer and I would be feeling totally overwhelmed if not for Judy's advice. Everything I need to know, she answers in this book or gives a place to go for the answer. The building blocks for planning a career are laid out in an easy to read/easy to find format that makes it a wonderful find. Judy's inspirational thoughts are a help as well. This is a tough business, and it is a relief to me to know that there is someone out there who can write with such warmth and such a genuinely helpful spirit. Thank you Judy!
