real thriller about silly-pro and silly-con

Could not wait to buy and read it as soon as I heard of the book. Reading it was more like watching a thriller movie - too fictitiously real - all about silly-pro and silly-con people inside and outside Silicon Valley.

Close to home

Since I both live in the Silicon Valley and work in electronics this book was fun to read. I know most of the places that are mentioned in the book. It is a page turner for sure. I am usually a Sue Grafton mystery reader but this book just kept me turning the pages more so than any Grafton I have read.

Great Read

I just finished the new novel by Romina Wilcox entitled COLD EYES and was pleasently surprised! This was a first novel and frankly, I think it could win an EDGAR!!
The storyline was very complicated with a lot of twists and turns. It was briming over with cybertechnical information. Even though much of it was high tech, the reader is able to decipher it all. She did a good job of simplifying the complicated.
I just didn't see the ending coming. It was a total surprise when I learned 'who done it'!! Would have never figured it out myself.
I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good read. Quite an adventure all the way through.

Wow. This book will appeal to fans of techno-thrillers as well as murder-mysteries. The characters are very well-developed and their actions will keep you guessing until the very end. Through Romina's excellent descriptions, I learned alot about the the way-of-life in Silicon Valley, the FBI, and the latest technology. I can tell that she did a lot of research and pulled information from her own work experience while writing this book. She is an outstanding author and I hope that she is already working on her next book. COLD EYES would make an excellent movie...it would be awesome if someone picked it up and adapted it for the big screen.

MUST READ

My wife read this first and recommended me.
Usually I don't have time to read book due to my heavy schedule, however, once I got into it, I couldn't stop. I am reading this book sacrificing my sleeping.
This is a must read!
