Great Information for a Sex Bombarded Society

In a society where sex sells everything from chewing gum to cars, books like Body Drama help to level the playing field for legitimate sexuality information versus saying anything to get a fast buck.
There is much more to Body Drama than sexuality issues, but as a sexuality health educator, I find it very useful and will recommend it to my students and their parents.
Now, if someone would write one for boys...

Excellent book for women of all ages

I highly recommend this book. It is plain talking, potentially life saving information. Our young women deserve to feel better about themselves and this book should help.

Body Drama

As a mother of a teenage daughter....I would say this book is a "must buy" for any one wishing to enlighten their own daughter. My daughter and I have a very open relationship but there are still topics covered in this book that are difficult to discuss.

target audience

Ok first let me say that this book really is a great book. I found it very informative and written in easily understood language. I would totally recommend this book BUT I think there should be a more specific age range specified. I bought this book for my pre-teen daughter thinking it would be a good resource. I still think it is a good resource but I don't think it is appropriate for pre-teens. I think there are some issues in this book that I am just not ready for my 12 year old to see or read about. I would and will personally hold off on giving this book to my daughter until she is closer to 14 or 15. There are pictures and topics that are better reserved for a more mature audience. If you do think your daughter, niece, etc.. is ready for it I would preview it first! Again, it is a great book but not for a younger audience.
