Another great classic to pair with a Spanish translation!

What a nice lilting lullaby that seems to calm my children even at their fussiest. Then I read the Spanish version, and they are increasing their vocabulary in both languages. I highly recommend this one and La Casa Adormecida as gifts to anyone looking to find ways to introduce their children to Spanish at the perfect age (the younger the better!) Of course, without a foundation like Flip Flop Spanish, it's difficult, but still a lovely book in any language!

The Napping House

This is a book that would appeal to young children because of the colorful pictures and funny story. An example of a funny story is when the "wakeful" flea bites the mouse. It is also hilarious when the child bumps the granny, and she breaks the bed. Another funny part occurs when the cat claws the dog. The Napping House also has colorful pictures. This would appeal to young children. An example of this is the last page, where everyone wakes up and goes outside. The picture contains a rainbow, a dancing child, and playful animals. Overall I though that The Napping House was a very creative book that I enjoyed and found myself laughing out loud at. I recommend this book to young children. They will enjoy it.

Cute book

I bought this book for my 9 month old son, however, my 2-year old daughter, 6-year old daughter and 8-year old son enjoyed it just as much as the baby. Well worth the money.

Soothing Music Accompanies Great Classic

This book has always been one of my children's favorites, and now they like it even more. The accompanying CD really helps create the mood of the story, with a smooth narration, soothing music, and the sound of rain in the background.
