Sideways is the best way to read

Side way stories is the best book ever. I'ts great because it tells how every student in Ms. jewl's class story like how they are and what they like. It talks about lous too the, coach. The story can be weird too. Like there is no nineteenth story, and how it was built the wrong way. the weirdest thing is how Ms. Gorf turn the kids to apples, tha's really interesting.I wonder how it would be to go up so many stairs they should built an elevator or something easier to go up the stairs. Mrs. Jewls is a really nice teacher it was funny that she was scared on the first day she was going to meet her class. The children or should I say students were nervous too,but I think it was really interesting,I would even read it again.

Wayside School Is Falling Down

This book is Sideway Stories From Wayside School by Louis Sachar. Mrs. Jewels dropped a computer out the window to teach the kids about gravity. That is the way it happens at Wayside School. There are twenty-nine kids is Mrs. Jewels class this story is about them about. I liked this book because it is funny.

best book ever

I think it's a good book because it is very intresting
at times espachialy when the teacher turns all of her
students into apples.or when one of the students
gets stuck to a desk by bubble gum from a girl just
playing a practical joke oh and don''t forget about
dead rats in raincoats and every sense the school was
built things were getting stranger and stranger and
i would reccomend this book to anyone that likes
humerous stories about somewhat normal people so
it's a good book

Funny and entertaining!

I help teach an elementary class of 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders and they loved these books! We started with one book and they liked it so much that we read the others. The stories are wacky, funny and fun. Now I'm reading them to my granddaughter (she's in 2nd grade) and she likes them too. I think they'd be great for 1st to 6th graders - maybe even older, as I enjoyed the stories also. I like that each chapter is a little mini-story, making it perfect for bedtime stories.

Hilarious and Creative

When the cooky Wayside School building was constructed, the builder accidentally built the school vertically instead of horizontally, making a thirty story-high building--but if you ever transfer there, remember there's no nineteenth floor (you'd have to read the books).
This little confusing mishap is just one of the hilarious stories of Wayside School, following Miss Jewels and her zany students. Author Louis Sachar is a very funny writer, making it easy for both kids and adults to love these books, here in a three-volume boxed set. The stories are close to loony, but always imaginative and creative.
