The Best Ending Ever!

I just finished reading this book, and I have to admit that I didn't want it to end...ever! I loved every character so much that I didn't want to let them go! The love story between Moira and Cian was the most wonderful story of all!

A truly unique series - very touching closure to the Circle Trilogy

When I read that Nora was going to write a Vampire trilogy - I was skeptical - not because I doubt Nora's writing talents, but because Vampires did not strike me as a typical Nora Roberts topic.

Nevertheless, being the die hard Nora Roberts fan that I am (yes, I own every book she has ever written including JD Robb series)... I ventured into the vampire series.

Now I ask myself why I was skeptical or doubting of Nora's unlimited talent and creativity. She took a very tried and true topic (and sometimes an overwritten topic of vampires) and created something so unique and inspiring.

The mixture of time travel, supernatural beings, and good old-fashioned romance makes this trilogy a very exciting and interesting read. Valley of Silence is the crowning achievement of this great series.

The love story & relationship between Cian & Moira is emotionally packed. Not many books are written well enough to create strong emotions, but this one did. The characters and story are so unique; the relationship grows & develops...There are 2 scenes (Moira's "Braveheart" speech & Cian's "letter" to Moira) that will make your heart swell with emotion.

Moreover, as a side benefit (As I am a huge JD Robb fan), I kept seeing hints of "Roarke" in Cian's character. I thought it was so cool!

Silence of the Valley, the 3rd installment of this series, starts as the six characters prepare for the final show down with Lilith. Cian must come to grips with meeting his "soul" mate after 1000 years of loneliness -- but he has no "soul" to give her. Moira must choose between her duty (as Queen leading her country into battle to save all humankind against a vampire horde), and the love of her life (a 1000 year old vampire).

It is a compelling story. Start with the first book (Morrigan's Cross) to read the characters' development - but enjoy this last installment & closure to the Circle trilogy. It is indeed one of Nora's best efforts.
Enjoy & keep the series.

It will make you appreciate the phrase "...and they lived happily ever after"

Spectacular, once again . . .

Just when you think you've read every story Nora Roberts could possibly imagine, she surprises you once again with an amazing tale of good vs evil, time travel, sorcerers and shape shifters, dragons and vampires.

I listened to the audio version. Dick Hill mesmerizes with his flowing Irish brogue. You are transported to Ireland, sitting at his feet with the children, listening to the tale and hanging on every word.

I was angry, I cried, I laughed, and I fell in love with a vampire.

This is a story that will delight and enthrall every reader.
