SAD BUT GOOD

IT IS ABOUT SUNNY A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO MUST COPE AFTER LOSING HER MOTHER TO A LONG BATTLE AGAINST LUNG CANCER.THE BOOK WAS REALLY GOOD BUT VERY SAD.I CRIED THROUGH MOST OF IT.I THINK IT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS IN THE SERIES.

Haunting! Moves a reader to tears!

Boy, was I glad to see that Sunny seemed to have matured in this one. In the first two books about Sunny, Sunny spends a lot of time feeling sorry for herself, skipping school, & giving poor Dawn a hard time. I liked how she came around & realized what a friend she has in Dawn. I was also pleased that she stopped cutting school & starting studying again & aced a test. I also liked how Dawn didn't give up on Sunny, but kept being there for her & even went to visit her mom, even though it was hard on her seeing her friend's mom so sick & dying. Oh, the passages that described Betsy Winslow's slow death was so chilling & haunting! Poor Sunny! I'm so glad she stood by her mom & that her mom was able to die at home. It was touching that her mom shared her diary with her. It opened up a whole new side to Betsy that readers had never seen before. What an awful time to lose your mom! Poor Sunny, my heart just wrenched for her. Maybe she could visit Stoneybrook & Mary Anne, who lost her mom at a young age, could comfort her. I know Sunny will grieve for a long time, but I have the feeling that with Dawn's support, she'll pull through this awful time & emerge a stronger person.

This book is sad but hard to stop reading it's a tearjerker!

I dont like many books but this one was very very good. I could not put it down literally! Although it is sad it has a very important plot. Less than halfway into the book i was balling! Tears were flowing out of my eyes! I would sugguest this book to anyone who likes a book thats on a good subject and anyone who likes tearjerkers.

Amazing

This was a great book. I do have a problem with how Bookstores place this book. I am 15 and i find that I can relate to this book. I was once an avid Babysitter fan and was glad to see an older version of those books. Unfortunatly stores put it near Ann's other books. I truly think this is a book for teenagers. I loved the book.

One of the SADDEST books I have ever read!

Oh this book is so sad, and I am not even through with it! Sunny's mother has just died . As in all books, I try to put myself in each character's shoes, so I guess thinking about how I would feel if my mom died is the main reason I spent half the books with tears dripping down my face. I will have used an entire box of Kleenex by the time I finish it. So far it is a great book, and usually I don't like books that make me cry , but I guess this book is good because it wasn't suggested by my mother. Now I am mad at myself for saying that, because this book really makes you think about how much you love your parents. This is quite unexpected for me, because I am usually into the series 'Making Out' by Katherine Applegat, but this series is an exeption. READ IT
