Lots of fun and wit

Very witty - at times, laugh out loud funny - tale by Hugh Laurie, star of House and many other movies and television shows. This was his first novel, and it was a lot of fun. I'm looking for more novels by him!

It's a good read

I really liked this book. It was funny, serious, complicated and fun. The first part of the book is relatively involved and there are plenty of twists along the way. The second part went by much quicker almost to the point where I wanted more. The ending was nice but almost abrupt. It is a great first effort by Mr. Laurie. I look forward to the possibility of this becoming a movie.

You may be surprized to see what a funy and talented writer you have in Hugh Laurie. I can not wait to read his next book out this september.

LOVE THIS BOOK!!

Strong reports are coming in that a movie is to be made about this book.
Hugh Laurie is an amazing actor, but this proves he is an amazing writer as well. I was laughing my [...] off reading this book. I would be interested to see any future books from Mr. Laurie, given he has the time, and should want to retire his acting career.

very smart and funny

if you like over-talked british humor. It did kinda drag out at the end but I really enjoyed getting into Hugh Laurie's brain. I did laugh out loud at parts of this book, but it was one I could only read once.
