Best Programmer Book Ever

Adam Nathan is succinct, informative, clear and direct. The decision to go full-color is perfect for this topic. The best development book I've ever read.

Well-rounded effort, great execution

WPF is a revolutionary technology and there's a lot to it, so you need all the help you can get.
There are other good books on this subject, but none as well-rounded as this one. The details suffer a bit because of this, but the other qualities of this book - good examples, great use of color for UI as well as for code snippets(!) - more than make up for it.
If you want to get a great overview of the WPF and just enough detail to get you started, pick this book up.

Excellent WPF resource

This is book is a timely, useful, and in-depth overview of WPF from two Microsoft engineers. Well written and structured, it's an excellent resource for anyone seeking to understand WPF's role and details.

A Must have for Vista Developers

Get It! Anyone developing new applications for Vista is going to want this. The book got to me in 2 days flat. It dives right into WPF and gets you inside the language and knowing it pretty well by the 3rd chapter. Anyone who wants to stay on the cutting edge of devel should have this in their library.

Great WPF Coverage!

If you're looking to learn more about creating powerful WPF applications you really can't go wrong with this book. Adam Nathan does a great job of explaning the key concepts of WPF and even discusses some of the pitfalls to watch out for which is somewhat unusual from an author working for Microsoft. A great book written by someone that really knows the framework.
