Finally, the knowledge of the silent scientific community is revealed. President Bush supported their message, as did the Russian independent studies. It is a shame that honest men of science cannot speak out because of the power of having to be "politically correct". We are in a 1500 year cycle of global warming. Adding higher temperatures and CO2 to the mix acutually will be beneficial to earth. And, there is little that we can do to alter the momentum.

Well written and credible due to effective combination of scientist (Avery) with writer (Singer) who writes in a way that draws out key conclusions and conveys them in terms that connect and are meaningful to readers of all backgrounds. Strong comments - supported by science and data - and commonsense. Discusses motives of those propagating HICC myth (Human Induced Climate Change myth). Effective, practical combination of many sciences. Interesting origins of Rio and Kyoto conferences and how these were trumped up and then drew politicians into group think. Exposes the the greenhouse theory as unscientific - and does it clearly, rigorously and credibly using facts and examples. Addresses the myth of warming-related species extinction and shows that following the IPCC's recommendations will lead to more pollution, more human disease and species extinction. Shows how man's material and economic progress has prevented many species from extinction. Shows how species have adapted through past cool periods and warm periods - that's why they've survived because climate change is normal for them.
One of the best books I've read in terms of style, content, interest and above all, fact and hard data. At last some credible science and rigorous commonsense to counter the myth and hype. A breath of fresh air.
