Really good, fast paced.

I think Fern Michaels is a great writer. Her books are really good and this one is amazing. It is very fast paced, can be read in a day or two. Revenge is an amazing thing. I can not wait until the rest of the series is pubished.

NOT WHAT I'M USE TO FROM FERN

I have read everything Fern Michaels has written and I own all her hardbacks. She is one of my all time favorite authors and I will just reach for anything she writes, sight unseen, but I have to tell you, when I saw the cover of this new book, I didn't want any part of it. Bad cover, big turnoff!! I decided since it was small, I would go ahead and start it and see what I thought. I have to admit, I enjoyed it a lot. It was very different and I was amazed at the method of revenge, but I read it straight through, laughed a bit, couldn't put it down. I loved the characters, all of them. I look forward to the next in the series. While I enjoy Fern's other books a whole lot more and it is hard for me to believe that she really wrote this, it certainly has grabbed my interest in seeing what the "sisterhood" does next time around. Perhaps Fern was in a rut and wanted to branch out in a different way. If so, good for her. I just hope she keeps writing her "normal" fare too as there is nothing I love more than to sink completely into one of her long, wonderful tales.

Loved this book

How many of us have shook our heads in sorrow when we find that a criminal gets off without being punished? This book hit the nail on the head. It is awful to lose someone and then the judicial systems screws you over. No one can repair the damage done to the victim or family, but it is something to think about....what if we could "take care" of it ourself? Sort of "an eye for an eye" punishment.

The first pay back is rather gross, but think of the crime done to Kathryn. It is horrendous. I can barely think of it.

I have to say, I do agree that the cover is trashy, and not something a Fern Michaels fan would ordinarily pick up. I read all of her books, and this was the next one on the list.

Can't wait till the next one in the series.

I really liked this book

I didn't expect to like this book, but I thought it was great. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series. As to a kinder gentler punishment--why should three morons who get a kick out of raping "lots and lots" (as one admitted) get a kinder gentler punishment? Their victims didn't. If I were one of their rape victims I certainly wouldn't be feeling kind OR gentle--especially when they get by with it and continue to do it again and again. In reality, I'll bet anyone who was raped would feel the same way. But aside from that, I liked all the characters and I think it was an entertaining read.
