Sad, yet Thrilling So B. It.

Heidi It has gone her whole life wondering about her past. Most kids know who their dad is and have known him their whole life Heidi has never met hers. The reason for this is because Heidi's mom is retarded and can only say 23 words. This is according to Bernie the neighbor that has been taking care of Heidi and her mom since Heidi was a week old and she and her mama came here with nothing.
A surprise about her mother sets her of on an adventure. And when you start something there is no turning back.

So B. It is an amazing book that is impossible to put down.
It is fun for adults and children. I definitely recommend it.

So B. It

The book I read is called So B. It. The book is by Sarah Weeks. I would consider this book a realistic fiction book. It was about a girl named Heidi. Her mom has mental issues, she can't say many words. All of them are normal words, but there is one word that Heidi has never heard of. Soof. Heidi would do anything to find out what the word meant. Since her mom is disabled and she doesn't know of any relatives, she doesn't know anything about her heritage or even her mom's name. Heidi's neighbor Bernadette helps Heidi with her mom. Bernadette also teaches Heidi, since Heidi doesn't go to school.
When Heidi finds a camera in a cabinet it could lead to everything. Heidi gets the cameras developed and looks at the pictures and saw a picture of her mom in front of a sign for a home for the disabled. She looked it up and found that it is in New York. Heidi, her mom, and Bernadette, live in New Mexico so that would be a long trip, but Heidi doesn't care she would do anything to find stuff about her mom and herself. Since Heidi's mom couldn't make the trip Bernadette has to stay with her because Heidi couldn't take care of her mom by herself. When Heidi finally gets to New York she doesn't get any of the answers right away, but it takes an unexpected turn.
I thought this book was really good. I liked it a lot and I think that anyone from 10-15 would like it. I think only girls would like it though.

Best book ever!!!!

I definitely recommend this book to everyone. I couldn't stop reading it when I started. While Heidi was on her long bus ride to New York, I couldn't wait to read about who she was going to meet up with next. A lot of people would like this book, if they like adventure. Heidi wanted to find out what soof meant and she had some tough times along the way.

So B. It

So B. It is a very good realistic fiction, with a slight twist. Sarah Weeks, the author, presents a young preteen girl who was born to a mentally disabled mother. Although, this might not be realistic it is the closest thing to what "could happen."
Heidi, the main character goes hrough a series of ournies to find information about her past through a picture she found, rumaging through her mother's closet. She intends to find her father the one person who could tell her what her past was like, and the numerous things that happened at "Hilltop Home."
My impression of this book is that it is fit for yound girls from about 6th-8th grade that want to experience the "imminent." I liked this book because, it took me on a journey of this yound girl's adventures to find out her past, because apparently time has already passed her by.

Bethany's Book Review

The book So B. It is about a girl named Heidi. Her mother is mentally challenged and goes by the name So B. It. They both live apartment in an apartment next to Bernadette's. A lady who has taken care of Heidi and her mother since Heidi was one week old, when her mother had showed up at Bernadette's door step with Heidi in her arms. The only problem is Bernadette has angora phobia- the fear to leave her apartment.
When Heidi is thirteen she goes on an adventure to find out more about her mother and herself. She develops a camera she found and discovers a picture of Mama when she was younger at a place called Hilltop. She gets enough money playing slot machines and takes a bus to Hilltop. What she finds there will change her life forever.
I really liked this book. I thought it was happy and sad at the same time. I think this book is best suited for everyone above age ten.
