highly recommended

one of my favorites

this book was one of the most eloquent and moving novels i have come across in my life. i was reluctant to read it at first, not enjoying 100 years as much as i thought i would, but love in the time of cholera surpassed every expectation i had of any author. i definitely recommend this novel to anyone who can appreciate the purest and most honest of all human emotions: love

Started off good.... but

This book infuzzed a love of reading in me, for the first 200 pages. Then I grew bored with the details and just wanted to know how the story ended.

The beginning is excellent, the middle and end however are left to be desired.
