Wait Till Helen Comes

The name of this book is Wait Till Helen Comes. The author is Mary Downing Hahn. This book is about a girl named Heather who talks to a ghost named Helen. She and Helen both had mysterious fires in their lives.Heather becomes very good friends, but Helen is leading Heather into danger.
My favorite part in the story is when Heather and Molly fall through the floor at Harper House. They find two skeletons under there and Heather knows it's Helen's mother and step father.
This book has a very good theme, don't keep a secret from your loved ones,or else you will be miserable for the rest of your life.
I recommend this book to you if you like to read scary scary books. If you like to read scary books at night ,this would be a great book for you!

Ben's Review of Wait Till Helen Comes

Wait Till Helen Comes is a great book. It is scary in a way that makes the hairs on the back of your neck rise up, but not in a way that will give you nightmares. I like the fact that it shows that you cant judge a book by its cover. The only thing i didnt like was that i got throught with it so fast that i wish it was longer because it would have been great if i could have spent more time reading it. I recommend this book for children who love ghost stories, haunted houses, etc. However, if you have a child that is easily scared, and i mean REALLY easily scared, this book is not for your child. Consider this your warning. (This is for everyone else.) I loved Wait Till Helen Comes and I think you will too.

An old favorite

I read most of Mary Downing Hahn's books when I was younger, and Wait Till Helen Comes (next to A Doll in the Garden) is, in my opinion, the best. When I discovered this story in fourth grade, I read it over and over again. I ended up buying it, and even though I'm 20 now, I still enjoy reading it every now and then (I've probably read it over 25 times). This is definently a book I would recommend...even to someone older than the specified age.

The book is call Wait Tell Helen Comes By Mary Downing Hahn. There is a little girl named heather and her dad just got married to michael and mollys mom.they move in to an old church, helen is a ghost and heather becomes her friend. Helen is a bad ghost and she tries to get heather to play with her and to do bad things. Then tries to get heather in the pond to kill her then molly tries to get her out. Molly and her did not like eachother but towards the end they started to. I like this book because it is a good book about a ghost.

Mollys true fear: Clay

The author of this book is Mary Downing
Hahn. The title is Wait Till Helen Comes and is about a
little girl who found a ghost friend named Helen.

I liked the way this book contained a lot of action. Like when Molly is always following Heather the wicked step-sister and getting in trouble for it. One time the little girl's ghost friend "Helen'' tried to hurt Molly for it.
The theme of this book is no matter what you
do your parents will still love you.
I recommend this book to people who like mystery and want to be chilled to the bone.
