an exciting, but sad book

In this book Tigger wakes Mary anne up in the middle of the night because her house is on fire. They get out o.k and so doe sthe reast of her family. But after the fire Maryanne has none of her belongings left because they were burnt down in the fire and she feels lost. Her dad and sharon also have to decide if they are going to leave Stoneybrook for good.

I believe this to be the best book that Ms. Martin has written in the Baby sitters Club Series. The story is very compelling and it takes you through the grief at losing it all to the realization that things will have to change. It is very well written and makes you feel some of what the character was going through. I really enjoyed this book and I love reading Ms. Martin's work.
