Very Moving.....

I have read several books on Laci/Scott Peterson and this one still remains my favorite. Sharon Rocha clearly put heart and soul into the writing and truly wants everyone to know Laci. It is unthinkable that Scott Peterson did this to his innocent wife and their unborn child. This book has brought me to tears on more than one occasion as I'm sure it's done with many others. Highly recommended .

Excellent Book

This is such a tragic loss to anyone, The lose of a child is the most heart wrenching event. Im sorry but may offend a few people here but something that really scares me is the fact that someone can sit on death row from being convicted with just circumstantial evidence. I watched the whole trial and read news report after news report.. all they proved was he was a a cheating , lying loser. If I was on the jury i couldn't have convicted him..sorry..

I SAW SHARON ROCHA ON TV AND THOUGHT ,I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HEAR MORE ABOUT LACI. I HAVE TO SAY THAT WHEN I STARTED READING ,I COULD HARDLY PUT THE BOOK DOWN. I READ IT IN 2 DAYS . EVERY CHANCE I GOT I WOULD READ . YOU COULD ALMOST FEEL SHARONS PAIN. YOU REALLY GET TO KNOW LACI . YOU FEEL LIKE SHE WAS SOMEONE YOU WOULD HAVE LOVED TO BE AROUND. THERE SEEMED TO BE A REAL LOVE STORY BETWEEN LACI AND SCOTT. WHO KNOWS WHERE IT WENT WRONG.HE WAS TOO SELF ABSORBED. LACI SEEMED LIKE SUCH A TRUSTING PERSON AND I WONDER WHAT SHE WAS THINKING BEFORE HER HUSBAND DID THE UNTHINKABLE. I RECOMNEND THIS BOOK HIGHLY. I HAVE PASSED IT AMONG THE FAMILY AND THEY ALL LOVE IT. YOU WONT SOON FORGET WHAT YOU HAVE READ. YOU ALSO GET TO KNOW SHARON AND HER FAMILY AND THE HEARTACHE THEY WENT TROUGH AND AND ARE STILL GOING THROUGH. I THINK LIKE THE REST OF US THEY ARE STILL WONDERING , WHY!

Highly recommended

This is probably the best non-fiction book I have ever read, and would recommend it to anyone. Get your tissues out, Sharon Rocha writes with heart and intelligence.

Laci; what a beautiful angel

I watched and listened to the Peterson case from the beginning. At first I didn't want to believe that Scott had done such a horrible crime. Not to such a beautiful wife and his baby boy. I just didn't want to believe it. I think what made this crime even more horrible (if that was possible) was the fact that it happened on Christmas Eve. The time of year when all little children wait so excitingly for Santa Claus. Little Connor didn't get the opportunity to experience that feeling. He was dumped, along with his beautiful mother into the bay. On Christmas Eve.......
I hope Scott Peterson lives a long and miserable life inside San Quentin.
As much as I didn't want to believe he was the one that murdered his wife and child, I had absolutely no doubt after Laci and Connor were found.
He is where he needs to be. For the rest of his miserable life. I have a daughter about the same age as Laci and I can't imagine what I would do without her. God Bless you Sharon. May you and your family someday find peace. Just know how many people you don't even know loved your daughter and her baby boy.

Shame on the Peterson's. Not for standing behind their son, that is understandable, but for treating Laci's family with such disrespect and their arrogant behavior.
They make it very hard for anyone to feel bad for them.

Sharon, Thank you for allowing us to know Laci and her family. As heartbreaking as it was to read, I know that someday I will read it again.
