Other Woman-Excellent

I just finished reading the The Other Woman by Eric Jerome Dickey. Talking about drama. This book was so well written that it left me breathless. I am beginning to see that it is possible for men to write from a woman's prespective very effectively. Eric Jerome Dickey is the master at pulling us into the middle of his plots. The Other Woman is a story that rings all too true in this life. I commend Mr. Dickey for having the courage to end this tale of deceit and revenge with murder and a surprise twist.
Let me also state that in this book the sex scenes are so steamy and the actions of the characters so realistic that they leap off the pages. I recommend that every couple read this book and learn the important lesson that infidelity teaches. Let Eric Jerome Dickey's masterpiece entertain you as well as enlighten.I wish him much success in his future endeavors and look forward to reading more of his works.

Very realistic

Not very many male writers can write a book like this from a woman's POV, Dickey has done a wonderful job. BRAVO! This was so realistic I couldn't put it down.

One thing I like about Eric Jerome Dickey is, he writes honestly, never beating around the bush or trying to sugar coat anything. We know what Freckles feels even when the shoe is on the other foot.

Freckles has it all, a nice house, a good paying job, and a loving husband. But, all is turned upside down when David Lawrence enters the picture accusing Charles of having an affair with his wife Jessica.

When Lawrence is able to show her proof, she is bent on revenge. The bad part about revenge is, it always returns to its place of origin, biting the sender in the backside. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and Freckles certainly gets something served to her that way in the loft, then again at home on the computer. Quite the double whammy. OUCH!

She has every right to mistrust her husband after his indicretion with Jessica. Yet Charles gets angry because she doesn't believe him when he tells her it's over and refuses to give her the details of their relationship by answering her questions. Charles does see Jessica one more time, but over a different situation that could change all their lives forever. Can the marriage survive or will it become another statistic?

This needs to be a play

This was a definite page turner. I am still wondering who the wife was because her name is NEVER mentioned in the book. I read the book twice in search of her name, that's what made the book a great read.

An emotional rollercoaster

I am in love with EJD books. This is my new favorite taking over the spot of Between Lovers. This book was beautifully written. It sucked me in from the cover on. I read this book in 8 hours and 45 minutes. I feel in love with David, Jessica's husband. I felt sorry for Charles, Freckles husband because he got lost in his own emotions of neglect. This story is a reality in many relationships today. The husband/wife is a work-a-holic trying to do their part to provide what they feel is the best life for the two of them not realizing they are neglecting their spouse. The spouse then finds the attention and affection they are craving from someone new then the deceit begins.

This story had me on the egde of my seat at all times. One minute I felt sorry for Freckles... the next minute I felt like thats what she got for neglecting her husband. I was mad at Charles for cheating but then I could feel where he was coming from. I just loved David... EJD described him so beautifully Jessica could only be cheating because she felt second to his work.

Yvette was a REAL friend everyone wish they had.

The ending of this book killed me... It had me in tears. I didn't expect it. I read it twice!

GREAT JOB Eric...it is truely MY FAVORITE ever!

Emotionally Driven

This book was excellent. It spoke the truth about how LOVE can make you go crazy! When your in love with someone, and your betrayed it can cause you to do and say things that you might later regret. Men always wonder why women key cars, and throw bricks through windows and crazy things like that, it is all out of love. If you are cheating on your spouse this book can be a real eye opener. Communication is the key.....
