A New Breed of Writer

This is one of a kind. The plot is ingenious; the characters are unforgettable; the setting is interesting, the actions are breath stopping and full of tension. Frankly, I'm tired of lovey-dovey boring women in jeopardy. This is a fresh mind, fresh voice. Others can retire now.

Cold Eyes will keep you guessing

I read this book and had to keep trying to figure out just who was the killer. A mystery worth your time. Romina mixes in all the local attractions and a few I hadn't heard of yet. Living in Silicon valley made it more desirable, get the book and get ready for a fun ride.

CSI met Grey's Anatomy -

Awesome Book. The story is so unique in many ways. The characters are engaging, particularly Joanne Gravitz. She seems so real, and so is Jacobsen, Smythe, Tilton, Dobbins. They have the characteristics of today generation and of today's daily office life. The plot is absolutely compelling, with its many twists and turns that kept me guessing from beginning to the end. Again and again, it proved me wrong who is CyberGod. I was constantly asking "whodunit, howdunit, and WHY." In the end, it was Marianne Dobbins' secret (the wife of the murdered Stanford researcher), that solved the puzzle. And since I live in Silicon Valley, I found the setting to be equally engaging. Cold Eyes captures the essence of how is it like to live here in Silicon Valley...... the traffic, the people, the diversity, the glitz and glamour. The language used by the author, the crime solving using the state-of-the-art technology reminded me of my favorite television series, CSI; the police investigation, the Internet crime, coupled with hospital setting-- with doctors, researchers, nurses, reminds me of another one of my favorite series, Grey's Anatomy. This is a perfect story of CSI met Grey's Anatomy. (with Justin Chambers as Dr. Jacobsen, of course.).

Keifer Sutherland's 24 meets Grey's Anatomy - Yeowza!

Awesome! I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the setting since I've always wanted to visit the Silicon Valley. The plot has so many twisted turns, it kept me guessing--whodunnit!
I think Keifer Sutherland could easily play agent Maloney.
Great Job, Romina! I look forward to your next book.

A movie for Catherine Zeta-Jones

Finally, indeed, a suspense thriller of our present time! The moment I read the first page, I was hooked. It was one of those books that screams.... "Take me home!" This would make a great movie and it's obvious that the author (even by her own account) wrote the story with a motion picture in mind. This author is one heck of a story teller. There is a murder mystery, computer hacking, kidnapping, plane crash, love-story--lots... of adrenaline pumping scenarios. I caught some minor errors but the great plotline compensated for it. And considering this is Romina Wilcox's first book, I gave her a 5-star. The characters are very interesting; the plot is unpredictable and very realistic. Joanne Gravitz is a woman of the 21st century....confident, brilliant, beautiful... with a ticking biological clock. She is very credible.

Romina has a future, but she needs to hire a better editor!
