Mostly Already Done!!!
I won?t bore the readers with the same information found above and below, and in other additions, however I will say there are a few words that have come to mind that would accurately describe some of the characters profiled by the author during his research?.
Traitors - the cattlemen?s associations, the meat industry players and others (aka corporations ) for their distribution of bad meats, to the public , their disgraceful *middle ages* treatment of the animals that is our
food
, serving up to the public medically untested genetically modified foods?.
Treasonous - the politicians and political parties that do nothing but let this industry slide with the abuse of workers, environmentally screwing up small towns and skate the laws of the land?
Milqetoast - the government employees and agencies who fail to sight the offending parties, for slithering past immigration laws and other disclosures and the mistrust generated when they don?t do their jobs?.particularly OSHA, FDA, USDA
Snowed - the author for seemingly being overly impress by the flavorists.
Otherwise the author has done his homework with presenting and updated version of the meat industry?.

Wake Up, America
This book essentially tells several facets to the
fast
food
industry. It goes into detail discussing how some companies in this industry were launched into the monetary success they enjoy today. It discusses what's in the food they sell you, with on site evaluations and observations by the author at many different butcheries and plantations.
This is a good book for getting a fairly complete insight into the fast food industry. It WILL change the way you think about fast food if you're not already at least skeptical (which you ought to be!) I recommend this to anyone curious about what makes that food taste so good and feel so addicting. It's also a great background and historical recap of how the industry came to be and some of the key players.
