IR for Beginners
This book is very straightforward and ideal for an introductory Political Science course at the college level. Definitions are in bold letters and Goldstein allows readers to follow along with ease.
Good Overview but dont waste your money
It's a great textbook but as a student, when a new textbook rolls out every year with minor changes and different examples it doesn't seem quite worth it. If you're already well versed in
international
relations
(either way of Model UN, or high school courses) don't bother buying a new copy. Most professors only use it as a guide. The real fun is in class and in discussion.

Very Intense and informative
The textbook "
International
Relations
" provides an extremely indepth overview of world politics. It's interesting, but definitely not light reading. (At the moment, I'm still trying to get through chapter three.) I highly recommend it for anyone who is thinking of pursuing International Relations at the post secondary level, but would like to learn more about the actual topic first.
Intimate International Relations
The book
International
Relations works
to present readers with a broad base of knowledge in a world that is infinitely complex and becoming more global with the passing of each day. If you desire to learn about the current governing bodies in the world today, this book will provide the basis for a life-long study.

Readers will appreciate the author's ability to make the rich complexity of
international politics
accessible and exciting, using clear writing, an abundance of lively, relevant examples, and a highly praised map and photo program. The books has accessible coverage of classic and alternative theoretical approaches. Included a fourth level of analysis-the global level and has the strongest coverage of international political economy available in any book. The text's Companion Website and the Microsoft(r) Encarta(r) Interactive World Atlas CD-ROM are integrated with the book through Web and Atlas icons in the books margins.
