The book has been updated over the years to include new info. on areas such as cultural diverse issues affecting group work in the US. This I believe is applicable not only to the US but to other area such as the Caribbean which share diverse cultures.
It also gives a detail listing of possible source material on adolescence and the Elderly.Great Book Toseland's book is considered by most experts in the field to be one of the best resources for understanding group work today. I have enjoyed this text and consider it an important addition to any Social Work library. After having Dr. Toseland as a professor is it clear that he is truely a master of group work. This book is worth every penny!!
