REALLY LIKE THE SET UP OF THIS BIBLE, IT IS EASY TO READ AND COLOR CODED FOR EARLY READER TO LEARN THIER BIBLE. GREAT ILLUSTRATIONS AND VERY AGE APROPIATE. LIKED IT SO MUCH I BOUGHT ONE FOR THE CHURCH WE ATTEND!!

Exploring the bible together...

My son selected this bible at the Christian bookstore because a friend of his at Pioneer Club owns the same one. We compared several different bibles, but this is the one he kept coming back to. Apparently he knew something I didn't... but I sure discovered it later that night!

I rarely attended church while growing up and even less in my adult life. My son is 8 years old and only been in a church for Sunday service twice in his life. He's only been in Pioneer Club for about 5 weeks (and missed two nights). When he asked me if we could get him a bible, I readily agreed. We talked about whether or not he was a Christian and whether or not he'd accepted Jesus as his personal savior - he informed me that he was Christian and yes, he has a personal relationship with Jesus. Wow. I had no idea!

Anyway, when the bible came home, we started looking it over together. I had to admit that I never knew most of the information on the first two pages! What a humbling experience. That night, my son & I said our prayers together for the first time ever. My son cannot wait to read more of his bible. Why is this so amazing to me? Because he's dyslexic and 99% of his life is spent avoiding reading or anything resembling reading. But when he picks up this bible, he loves learning, hearing the stories and reading the little side notes (he lets me do most of the reading, but I have convinced him to read the interesting side information - and he does, in order to hear more of the stories).

Definitely a great starting point for any child or adult to learn the basics!

Good Bibles for beginners

This Bible was the best choice for the kids I bought it for. They don't know much and are just learning to read. This Bible is very easy to follow and even helps them study.

I really like this bible. I have 6 boys 2 of them have this bible & one had it when he was younger. They get the word of God in a way they can understand & can read hemself. I also use this bible to each from in sunday & a home.
