Very happy with this purchase

I was hesitant to purchase based on several of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I bought it. The quality very good and have no problem hearing it no matter what I play it on - computer, car, portable CD player. I like the speaker's voice and the introductions to each Book are helpful.

A very enjoyable way to experience the Living Word of God.

Pretty much the reviews previous to mine I agree with. Sometimes the volume level of the CDs are a little low and hard to hear. The narrarator takes a while to get used too because it is VERY dry reading. Although once you become accustomed to his voice it is like hearing your grandfather speak. I really enjoy the introductions to each book though because of the historical significance. Very enjoyable.

Easy listening

I was in an auto accident 4 years ago and found it hard to study or read my bible. I had trouble comprehending what I had just read or trouble concentrating. This product explains so nicely what each book of the bible is about, who the author was, and is recorded in a gentle female voice. I have enjoyed listening to it so much and it has added pleasure back into my life. Now, I listen and read along in my study bible.

This NIV audio Bible is very easy to listen to. It seems to have just the right amount of dramatization and music to let the listener know who is talking and what the mood is.
